VCBO Architecture (www.vcbo.com) is seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to join our Architectural Group. VCBO has a passion for excellence and a strong group of people who respect each other and enjoy working together.
General Duties:
Hiring as part of a team, Employee Development program and management, training, Internal Communication Assist with Compensation and Wage Structure, Support Diversity, Classifying Employees. Understanding and providing current compliance with Employment Laws, both Federal and State.
- Maintains work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions on an on-going basis.
- Maintains recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
- Conduct orientation and training programs for both employees and Principals.
- Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
- Hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable federal and state requirements; conducting investigations, maintaining human resource records.
- Prepare, update, and recommend human resource policies and procedures.
- Maintain historical human resource records by filing and keeping past and current records.
- Obtains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Payroll and Timesheet processing.
- Monitor and Report on employee issues.
